Recognized as one of the top 10 pride events in the country, Denver PrideFest in Civic Center Park is a celebration of community and culture that is welcoming — and fun — to all attendees, regardless of sexual orientation. The free, two-day festival gets bigger every year. This year’s event took place on June 17–18, 2017.
Between activities and entertainment for kids, adults and pets; browsing health and wellness booths, the youth interactive area, retail and commercial booths; and recharging at food and beverage stands while watching the famous Dogs in Drag Parade, the options are endless to ensure a great weekend. Check out programming on three stages: the center stage, Latino stage and dance stage, which features cutting-edge DJs spinning beats. On Sunday, the annual Coors Light PrideFest Parade makes its way down Colfax Avenue. The parade starts a 9:30 a.m. sharp at Cheesman Park and heads west directly to Civic Center Park.
