Goodbye 2016 and Hello New Year!
January 18, 2017
Goodbye 2016, you were great!
Some of our biggest achievements were awarded this year as a company. Between expanding dispensary locations into new states and building our lifestyle brand, we were nominated for a number of different awards at a variety of events throughout the year. As this community continues to flourish, our company has become closer than ever. We cannot wait to show our patients, clients, and friends what’s in store for 2017.
In December, cannabis industry businesses, individuals, and organizations in both medical and recreational sectors, as well as ancillary industries came together for the 2016 Cannabis Business Awards. We were lucky enough to be nominated for the following categories:
- Cannabis Business of the Year
- Most Valuable Brand
- Best Retail Center
- Cannabis Executive: Matt Aiken, Co-owner
- MVP Award: Matt Aiken, Co-owner
- MVP Award: Anthony Sauro, Co-owner
- MVP Award: Ali Hind
- Cannabis Woman of The Year Award: Nichole West, VP
- Educational Achievement Award: Nichole West, VP
- Manager of the Year: Niko Yamaguchi & Katelin Varner
- Budtender of the Year: Randy Trotter
Morale couldn’t have been higher as we left the night with Most Valuable Brand, Best Retail Center, Cannabis Executive of the Year and MVP awards. It’s so exciting to see the progression from 40 lights, to the top 5 grossing marijuana brand in Colorado, to starting off 2017 holding these new titles. We look forward to showcasing a new year of quality product, cool styles, and the same great customer service.
