OUR NIGHT AT FUNKY VALENTINE

Our employees worked for the evening at My Funky Valentine, spreading the word about our fierce marijuana centers.

Single or taken– sweet and fierce, we had a blast sponsoring My Funky Valentine! We joined our friends at Yolo Rum for a special night of groovy music, tasty food and delicious drinks.

Our employees worked for the evening at My Funky Valentine, spreading the word about our fierce marijuana centers.

The evening began with a food and drink tasting competition. Votes were casted for everyone’s favorite treat. Yolo was joined by New Planet Brewery, Odell Brewing Company, Fort Collins Brewery & Tavern, Crooked Stave, Left Hand Brewing Company, Coyote Gold Premium Margarita, and Mile High Spirits. The food was amazing as well, featuring dishes from various food trucks and catering companies. There were samples of all types of food, everything from dinner to dessert. Each booth had it’s own sweet edge– it was nearly impossible to pick a favorite. At the Sweet Leaf table, we had our own wild competition. Guests came to our table to enter a raffle for a fierce ounce of flower from one of our centers!

During the tasting, some people took a swing at love with “The Dating Game: LIVE”. In the style of old-school dating games, the hilarious host chose 3 contestants and one participant. Each contestant was asked naughty, silly or random questions to help the participant choose their potential soulmate. Our budtender Stacey was not afraid to put herself out there, she won the round! The photo booth was a hit. We took a few breaks from our tent to strike some sweet and fierce poses. The night was capped off with a wonderful set from Eddie Roberts (The New Mastersounds) and his funky new side-project “Eddie Roberts’ West Coast Sounds”.

Hopefully we can sponsor My Funky Valentine again next year! Keep us in mind for your next sponsored event. We are always looking for fun, local events to support.
