HIGH TIMES Cannabis Cup with Madzilla

Earlier this month, the Sweet Leaf team headed to San Bernardino California to show face at the HIGH TIMES 2016 Medical Cannabis Cup and hang out with cannabis celebrity, Madzilla. With two back to back days of cannabis related activities, the experience was predictably lit.

The event featured a grow room, dab rig exposition, topical massage spa, kitchen demos, vape pen clinic and evening performances from DJ Snoopadelic, Juicy-J and more. With innovation always at the forefront of the Cannabis Cup, there was a big emphasis on education throughout the weekend. It was empowering to witness speakers spotlighting national legalization, medical research seminars, budtender workshops, extract panels and more from insightful entrepreneurs and industry leaders. The living grow room was the first of its kind, showcasing grow set-ups, lights, and gardening techniques from expert growers. It was a weekend teeming with progressive thinking, wonderful people, and a whole lotta smoke.

And Madzilla? The tatted up, badass model/rapper/DJ is an up and coming sensation in California and expanding her fanbase on the daily. We teamed up on some amazing swag and to campaign for a “Yes” vote on Prop 64 which will legalize the sale of recreational marijuana in The Golden State. A private smoke sesh in a Cali mansion with her and her crew topped off the weekend for our group before we headed back to Colorado.
